Splash is an acrylic fluid pour created on an 8 x 10 x 1/8 inch art board and sits inside an 11 x 13 x 1/2 inch white frame. This artwork contains swirls of smoky lime green and blue-black mash of colors I created with left over paint from another acrylic pour. I did not have a plan for this artwork I just poured the colors on one side and just let the paint flow where it wanted. I used the ancient technique of blowing paint in the direction I wanted emphasizing an upward direction. The haphazard formation reminds me of how chaotic the ocean water can be as it crashes up against rocks and this is what you see flying in the air, a massive splash.
